Aqua can format your text in any way you want: from emails, casual text, to specific region preference. For optimal performance and reliability, we recommend adding examples of the desired output.

TLDR on Custom instructions:

Instructions are understood best by Aqua when listed and with an example of what you want.
🔑
  • Rule 1: explanation of the rule
    • Example of a good output: ”Sample of desired output text”
    • Example of a bad output: ”Sample of undesired output that the rule is trying to avoid”
  • Rule 2: explanation of the rule
    • Example: ”Sample of desired output text”

Instructions for emails:

You can include details on your format, frequency of periods and paragraph breaks. Aqua will also remember the unique way you sign off your emails. Example you can copy and paste:
✉️
  • For emails, the text should have the line breaks of an email intro and signature. Make sure to use periods often to make the sentences concise and add line breaks every two sentences.
    • Example: ”Hey Leon, It’s great to hear from you and congratulation on the new job. I’m sure life in New York is very different from back home. We’ll be traveling to Copenhagen in July. I hope you’ll be around so you can meet the baby. Say hi to your parents for me. All the best, Liam”

Write like a human:

Avoid computer-speak and make sure Aqua writes like a human

Example you can copy and paste:
🤖
  • Never use em-dashes.
    • Example of a good output: "The team decided to move forward with the proposal, despite initial concerns about the budget, because it offered long-term benefits. Everyone agreed, even the sceptics, that the investment was worth making."
    • Example of a bad output: "The team decided to move forward with the proposal — despite initial concerns about the budget — because it offered long-term benefits. Everyone agreed — even the sceptics — that the investment was worth making."

Speak like a local:

Some words are spelled differently in different places. You can tell Aqua you want your text in the local vernacular.

Example you can copy and paste:
🇬🇧
  • Always use UK English, in a South African context.
    • Example of a good output: "The colour of the cheque showed that the project was cancelled after the organisation spent R200 on it."
    • Example of a bad output: "The color of the check showed that the project was canceled after the organization spent 200 Rand on it."

Remove filler words:

On top of removing obvious filler words, you can tell Aqua how much you want to be concise.

Example you can copy and paste:
🔎
  • Never start sentences with “and”, “but” or “because”
  • Remove filler words: “um”, “like”, “yeah”, “well”, “so”
    • Example of a good output: "The new marketing campaign has already shown promising results. The sales team is optimistic about closing several large deals this quarter. The budget was approved early, so they were able to launch ahead of schedule."
    • Example of a bad output: "The new marketing campaign has already shown promising results. And the sales team is optimistic about closing several large deals this quarter. Because the budget was approved early, they were able to launch ahead of schedule."
